New Conservation Easement at Woodlands Preserve

Fellow Conservationists,

Great news! I was honored to join Woodlands Conservancy this week at the closing of the Woodlands Preserve in Plaquemines Parish. Congratulations to Katie Brasted, Woodlands Executive Director, and the Woodlands Conservancy board on acquiring 649.11 beautiful acres, to be enjoyed by future generations of people and wildlife forever!

While Woodlands Conservancy owns the property, Land Trust for Louisiana will hold the conservation easement in perpetuity. Congratulations again to Woodlands and everyone involved in making this day happen!

Yours in Conservation,

Cindy Brown
Executive Director
