That’s a wrap on Yoga in the Sunflowers 2025

We were blessed with raindrops, rainbows, bees and butterflies at Yoga in the Sunflowers 2025. It was truly a special day, breathing in the beauty of Louisiana’s great outdoors at Pine Knoll Farm, one of our conservation properties in Tangipahoa Parish.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped us create a beautiful day at this year’s Yoga in the Sunflowers on Saturday, July 26! Special thanks to the Addison family, Land Trust board member Brenna Barzenick and Downtown Yoga, without whom this community event would not be possible.

Yoga in the Sunflowers is about immersing our bodies and spirits in the majesty of the nature that surrounds us. Out on the land, we can truly feel the impact of preserving Louisiana’s irreplaceable lands and waters for future generations.

Thanks to our wonderful community sponsors and local partners, it was an especially unforgettable year. Participants got to craft their own bouquet with sunflowers and fresh blooms from Yellow Van Farms, and our lucky raffle winners enjoyed Aveda products from Paris Parker Salon & Spa, free yoga classes with Downtown Yoga, passes to the Global Wildlife Center, goodies from Luma Coffee Roasters and native hummingbird plants courtesy of Land Trust ecology experts Nelwyn McInnis and Latimore Smith.

Thank you for your support of Land Trust for Louisiana and local conservation that allows us to preserve the lands and waters that make Louisiana so special.

Stay tuned for more opportunities to join Land Trust for Louisiana out on the land, and follow our Facebook and Instagram pages to keep up with our projects and events!
